  1. I have a 10 month old GSD she is great in many ways. Apart from if she sees people or dogs. She assumes they all want to play and wants to jump up at them. Not aggressive. But playful. If on a leash she pulls like crazy to get to the person or dog. Although she wants to sniff them all. Not all dogs or people like that so I worry taking her out.

    1. Yes that’s not ideal. A well socialised dog is neutral to other dogs and people. Check out the free webinar, you’ll love it!
The Reactivity Webinar happens weekly on Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm EST (USA time). The link for the webinar is here, and you can choose this week or the following week: https://theonlinedogtrainer.com/reactivity-webinar/
If you register, you’ll get the recording via email after the webinar

  2. Hi I just signed up for the webinar. Rescued a one year old GSD/border collie mix and she’s a real handful. She has extreme prey drive and I have 3 cats and am afraid to introduce them. I can’t keep her if they can’t live in the same space. Will this help or do I need something else?

    1. The free webinar is a great place to start. If you need more help head to my website. All details will be given at the webinar

  3. I’m in the mountain time zone, 1 hour ahead of Los Angeles and cannot open the webinar. By the way I sent you guys over $600 for my training course and have received nothing, either in the mail or on the net. I seriously want my money back as you guys are not delivering what was promised. Beware people of doing the same thing.

  4. I have just brought home a stray dog from my holiday in Greece that I fell in love with.
He is great with children, people, doesn’t chew the house up, can be left alone in the house, has learnt to walk in a lead. Has learn come and sit (recall still needs work) but he is so reactive to other dogs. I’m not sure of it’s only because he’s on a lead be aiseci haven’t let him off it yet. But he has bitten another dog so it’s not just noise. This is his only fault and we have to address it

  5. Really looking forward to this. I have 2 rescue dachshunds and one of them is next level reactive. He is on high alert 24-7 and the longer he’s been with us the worse it is getting. Would love to see him calm and switched off, he must be exhausted!

  6. I am so looking forward to some guidance about resourcing. My dog resources ME and this is causing huge problems with my special needs child. I hope I can learn something from thos webinar.

  7. I hope this helps. I have two fixed male pits that have been in two fights so far. I need help!! It’s been overwhelming and stressful. I want them to be happy with each other. Thanks!

  8. I registered for the Sunday one which shows 8pm in my timezone. At 11.45pm on Sunday. I received an email stating it would start in 15 minutes. Obviously I’ve missed it. Very confused.

    1. Sorry this has happened. I’m not sure which time zone you are. The Reactivity Webinar happens weekly on Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm EST (USA time). The link for the webinar is here, and you can choose this week or the following week: http://theonlinedogtrainer.com/reactivity-webinar/

  9. I’m confused
    I’m in Western Australia
What time is the webinar for me please?
    Forgot what one I selected

  10. Hi Dan. I signed up for Sunday session and I am in Canada. I am not seeing a time for Manitoba where I live

    1. It should be converted to your local time. I’m in NZ so if not you can Google the time comparison

      1. Hi Dan why is Melbourne always at 5.00am? There is no way that I can attend at that hour and I’ve tried. Is this seminar mainly for the US market? 7.00am in NZ is reasonable.

          1. Do you mean the replay or you weren’t able to join live? If you registered you would receive the replay via email. Check your junk if not received

      2. Hi, I joined the end but live in Sydney and 5am was too early even though I tried and it said they would send a replay but I haven’t received one yet. I want to buy it but need my husband to watch so he can do the same training othetwise the dogs will be confused. I liked what I saw.

          1. Hi I emailed this email address to follow up since I didn’t receive a link with the replay but haven’t heard anything back.
Am I able to get this emailed to me pls!!

      1. I’m NZ time so you can just Google the difference. The Reactivity Webinar happens weekly on Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm EST (USA time). The link for the webinar is here, and you can choose this week or the following week: http://theonlinedogtrainer.com/reactivity-webinar/

  11. Hi, Dan. I hope you are doing well. I was just wondering if you could give me an idea on how long this webinar will be? Thanks. Have an amazing day!!! 🙂

      1. I don’t see a time listed for Canada. I’m in Ontario and signed up for the Wednesday one but this doesn’t show what time it will air here.

        1. 3pm Wednesday NZ time will be 11pm Tuesday in Ontario. The Reactivity Webinar happens weekly on Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm EST (USA time). The link for the webinar is here, and you can choose this week or the following week: https://my.demio.com/ref/83RZTzAOfmGB8W6e

      1. Apologies if you had issues. There was one webinar a month or two ago where our server had issues. Unfortunately it was out of our control. It’s been all good since though.
The webinar is totally free. It’ll give you everything you need. If you want further help afterwards, we do have paid courses. Those who attend the webinar will be offered a huge discount on those. But, as I said, you’ll get what you need to go it alone if you wish.

    1. If you click the link in the email and go to the room (even though it hasnt started yet) it will give you a count down for your timezone, possibly based on IP address so check the timezone is what you’re expecting eg for Sydney Australia it is AEDT which is Aus Eastern Daylight savings time. hope this helps!

      1. Coming back for a top up. Your 5 Golden rules really helped bringing my pup up. He’s 9 now but hugely reactive if he sees a dog outside the car. No idea what to do as he goes into a zone which is hard to break.
Thanks for the opportunity to see your talk.

        1. You’re welcome!
Unfortunately I cannot respond to every training question however, if you sign up for the Complete Pack, there’s a forum within the program, which is the best place to post these questions. Our very experienced trainer Hayley will then give you a detailed response. Theres also a lot more training content within. You can get in touch with the help desk to find out more. Cheers Dan

  12. Hi. I’m looking forward to your webinar. I have a 9 month Dobermann that is driving us insane. She chews EVERYTHING in sight, piddles herself when you tell her to sit, she’s pulling the electric gates open to escape and wants to dominate the 2 small puppies by putting her mouth over their neck. This last behaviour is particularly distressing for me, as my last old darling Ted.E actually died this way, when his carotid was pierced. He died in my arms. Very traumatic.
I am desperate for help, otherwise, sadly, we will need to rehome Xena.

  13. Hi I couldn’t log in to watch got a email saying a replay should have been emailed just before that email but I haven’t received that eaither

    1. Apologies, our server had some technical issues with the last webinar. The Reactivity Webinar happens weekly on Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm EST (USA time). The link for the webinar is here, and you can choose this week or the following week: https://my.demio.com/ref/83RZTzAOfmGB8W6e

  14. Hello, I can’t wait to watch your live training about reactivity. My dog suddenly become reactive to other dog but he is friendly with people. He was never reactive before until we limit his socialisation due to his weak hind leg and mild arthritis. I have talked to other trainer and all they said is I need to re-engage him again to all the things he used to do before.

    1. I was unfortunately never let in on the webinar. I received a message saying the webinar had not started yet and I would be redirected to the webinar when it started. After 46 minutes, gave up sadly. Was really looking forward to seeing this webinar.

      1. I will be at work when the webinar is on – can I watch it another time?
My reactive dog is a nightmare and I am getting desperate so I don’t want to miss it.

          1. Fabulous
Glad I will be getting it on email .
I signed up for Sunday 18th at 3pm only have a cell & my signal is terrible . Glad to know I can watch it afterwards
            THANKYOU

  15. I can’t log into the Webinar, keep getting a ‘connection lost’ message but my Wi-Fi connection is stable. Very disappointed I hope I am able to access the recording later.

  16. Hi doggy dan i have 1year old dachshund he has had fear anxiety from 8weeks old, hes on meds from the vet they are doing some good but not enough as he can become aggressive at times and tryies to bite i am looking forward to seeing you on ur video thanks

      1. May i please watch via a recording also? Will you please email the recording to me please? I have an appt on Wed at 2pm and won’t be done in time to watch.

      1. Thank you, lol… just spotted that the time in London is 8.00pm so should be OK, if not I’ll listen to the recording. Thanks very much

  17. Hi Dan. I’m looking forward to attending your first webinar on Thursday. I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel/Jack Russel cross. Her recall is brilliant and she loves chasing balls and in most senses is great. Our problems are if other dogs approach her. I run with her and this morning a laborador came bounding up to her which triggered her into fight mode. She’s never bitten anyone or another dog, but is definitely aggressive in these situations.

  18. A big 8 month old Flatcoat who is doing really well, BUT gets hyper excited when he sees another dog and lunges towards them trying to get to them to play. All impulse control goes out the window. I’ve been walking where there are other dogs far enough away to keep things calm and under threshold and gradually decreasing the distance, but if we come on one unexpectedly, or in a group class situation he just leaps and lunges. No aggression at all, tail wagging furiously, just super excited.

    1. Here is a link to a blog post that explains more about training a dog to walk correctly on a lead:
      http://theonlinedogtrainer.com/doggy-dans-ultimate-guide-to-leash-training/

Also, I highly recommend using a front-clip harness such as the Easy-Walk.

… however, the main thing is to understand WHY your dog is not relaxed out on a walk. Very often this is to do with them being stressed because of the role that they are playing. When you are able to communicate to them that they can switch off and relax, everything changes and is a lot easier.

Take a look at my Pull No More course. You’ll love it! http://theonlinedogtrainer.com/shop/#pull-no-more

  19. Hi Doggy Dan,
I may be a bit late to the 1st session, which is Friday 6am, EST Australia.
I pray this will help with our over active, naughty Doberman. She is 8 months old & actively looks for mischief. She has just started to rip washing off the clothesline & gnaw holes in them.
She has lots of toys, but is obsessed with fetching the ball.
    The frustration is real.

  20. I have a big GSD who is 5 years old and who constantly challenges every day. I win the battles but every day it’s a reset: are you in charge or am I? He is on patrol when with me (guarding) but my partner says when I’m out he chills and relaxes: different dog. Reactive on walks -esp to other dogs. Have been doing the dog calming code and get that I have to be in charge, and am – but it’s a huge daily effort! Would LOVE to solve this!

    1. Sounds like he’s not convinced yet. How long have you been implementing the 5 rules? Are you doing ALL of the 100% and with the right energy?
Unfortunately I cannot respond to every training question however, if you sign up for the Complete Pack, there’s a forum within the program, which is the best place to post these questions. 1. Being UK based, my Webinar is scheduled for Thursday at 8pm however I’m not sure I’m going to be back from work in time. Is there link where I can view the first Webinar in your series?

Really love your work by the way and have successfully used many of your methods.

  21. I have to drag him down the street, but, he’s getting better 50% of the time. He’s 9 weeks and chews everything,my hair, my fingers

  22. Not really sure how to get this. I registered but don’t have Chrome. I’m in N.W. Florida and wanted to watch the 3:00 one.

  23. Good afternoon I have registered for your webinar on Friday. I am really hoping it helps with my reactive puppy. She runs at people who walk past, cars and when people come round who she doesn’t know it’s a nightmare. She growls, barks but has never bitten. I’m at my wits end. I want to be able to take her on walks etc without the nightmare of her reaction.
She is absolutely wonderful with family.

  24. We have a 3yr old rescue black lab. He was a big boy, 40kg when we got him in June but now he’s 32kg, which the Vet is happy with. He is well behaved and a big softy. He is still puppy like. His recall is “ok” but his big problem is pulling on the lead because he was rarely walked. I dread taking him out as he is very strong! It makes me very sad.

  25. Hi!
I am praying to God that I can learn from this webinar. Our 18 month old St. Bernard is a good boy until my husband comes home. Bernie will jump and nip and draw blood once or twice a day. He’s learned that if he bites us or our clothes that we redirect with playing and he gets what he wants. Problem is it happens over and over and my husband gets angry and then I have to break it up. We are in the process of rehoming. I know it’s our fault but I don’t know how to fix it to keep my husband / us safe.
    We love him.

    1. The most important step in correcting this behaviour is to understand WHY your dog is behaving this way. Very often this is to do with them thinking they are more important than they actually are – hence (in the dog way) “telling off” the human who tries to correct them. When you are able to communicate to them that they can switch off and relax because the humans are in charge, everything changes and becomes a lot easier.

Here is a link to a blog post that explains more about dog aggression:

… and here’s one about dogs biting their owners : http://theonlinedogtrainer.com/when-dogs-bite-their-owners/
You would also benefit from one of my programs. I’d recommend The Complete Pack http://theonlinedogtrainer.com
      All the best, Dan

  26. Sorry I can’t make webinar this Thursday at 3pm UK time.

Can you please keep me informed re: further sessions. I am very interested.

    Lynn

  27. Il’m really impressed! I have 2 dogs (one 5 1/2 yr somewhat trained by traditional method) & the otherone is 1 1/2 yr who I think will catch on fast. Both are Shih Tzus. I realize some of the things I’ve been doing wrong & am eager to implement the new ways. Thank you so much!!
I assume the free videos will come in an email?

  28. The only problem I have is when I have to leave her alone in her kennel. I’ve tried pills from the vet and CBD oil and nothing keeps her from barking constantly while I’m gone

  29. Looking forward to watching this as we have a young pit/ cattle dog with a lot of energy and bad manners, jumping up often, occasionally playful nipping

    1. Hi
When should I expect to receive a copy of the seminar emailed to me.? Thank you
      Caroline
