I'm so glad I got this whistle - my two pups responded to it the first time we went out to train with it. Using it along with Dan's training techniques for recall is an absolute game changer - building that trust so we can hopefully soon try it off the leash.
This whistle is not obnoxious sounding with a high screeching noise. It is subtle but my dog, a Toy Fox Terrier, a difficult dog to recall, comes every time. Superb product. I’d recommend it to everyone!
It sounds the same every time you use it… not like when I try and use shepherd's whistle.. lol! Even the cat comes running!
Love this whistle. The minute I used it my dog came running - every time. And it's great as it's not too loud for humans. Unfortunately, my pooch decided to munch on it for breakfast one day when I wasn't looking, so have had to purchase another one. I can't wait for it to arrive! Highly recommend it.

Our dog Misty understood the concept of the whistle and being rewarded with treats immediately. We were surprised at how fast we had success with her recall going out into the park where there are other distractions. In the past just calling her name and 'come here' were 100% effective. Now she reacts much faster and with joy! On one walk we forgot to take along the whistle, but had treats. We whistled ourselves (as good as we could) and she came running as well expecting treats! Marvellous!

Easy to use. I’m working with my 4 month old pup. He comes running!
My pup doesn't come immediately if you call her. But with whistle and using the steps, she recalls back every time. Such a reliable tool!
The whistle works pretty good when he's in eyesight of me but if he's next door with the other dog, not so much. I do make sure he gets a yummy treat like freeze dried liver and cheese as a reward. He seems to have selective hearing and is very easily distracted.
