Helping you help the dogs you love in your area
Recently I celebrated what I thought was my 43rd birthday. I posted a photo on Facebook and immediately started receiving emails from good friends telling me that I was only 42!
It was amazing–after working it out again on my fingers and a few hours letting it sinking in I felt like I had just been given the amazing gift of the past year back. To live again as I choose.
And so I decided, this time I would live it differently!
That’s right…I’ve decided that I’m going to be more authentic, more true to myself, more real and speak more from my heart and less from my head. I’m going to care less what people think of me and have more belief that amazing things happen to people who do good.
And so this is my first step. It’s bringing you the opportunity to help the organizations that you love and support and become part of a project that could transform the world of dog ownership.
The best thing of all is that it’s such a simple concept–which is why I was able to come up with it!
So what’s the problem?
Here’s the problem that I hear and see on a regular basis and then I’ll explain the solution.
- Dogs are in trouble through no fault of their own and need to be better understood.
- Dog owners are struggling to find good training which doesn’t cost a fortune and solves the issues they are facing, fast.
- Dog organisations and rescue centres are looking to raise money and also provide owners with good dog training information.
Quite simply, what I’m proposing is that any non-profit dog rescue/protection/rehoming organization that promotes my dog training solution, I will give 70% of the proceeds to them (I wish it could be 100%, but I do have to pay staff to run the program).
There are three direct benefits to this win-win-win solution:
This could become their main source of fund-raising, or at least a large, on-going cash injection for their worthy cause. And it will have a huge impact on saving dogs lives.
It means that dog owners get access to my complete dog and puppy training program at a price they can afford.
Dogs are finally understood in a way which allows them to change their behavior through choice not fear.
How can you help?
My team and I will be reaching out to as many organisations as we can, but there are just so many… and that’s where I need your help. I’m asking if you can please suggest this offer to your local non-profit organisation, AND share it with as many of your friends as you can.
Most K9 rescue and rehoming centres simply have no idea that my dog training website exists…until you tell them about it! And by getting the ball rolling you are doing a wonderful thing.
You can’t guess the impact your actions will have in the long run and the countless dog’s lives we could save.
So just tell them to get in touch with us and we’ll do the rest. You can point them to this page, or ask them to email me at [email protected] and I’ll send them more information.
How does it work?
When an organisation teams up with us, they’ll be given a special website link that points to my dog training solution called The Online Dog Trainer– theonlinedogtrainer.com
But the link is special because it will record any sales that are made and credit the organisation with 70% of all proceeds.
They can then put this link on their website, or in their emails, or newsletters they send out to their loyal dog lovers.
Also, when a dog or puppy owner is looking for help regarding an issue, the organisation can simply point them to this link on their website.
My dream for a better world
Back in 2009 I built The Online Dog Trainer. My dream back then was:
- to share my knowledge (I didn’t want to just take it to the grave with me!)
- give back to dogs
- help all dog owners
- and create a way for all the great and small rescue organizations across the globe raise money to expand their wonderful and important work.
With over 300 videos and thousands of happy people having already benefited from the dog and puppy training program, my dream is now a reality.
This year, since I feel like I have been given it back, I’m doing what I intended to do last year and shout it from the rooftops!
The Royal New Zealand Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals–RNZSPCA.org.nz–is already supporting us as well as many other smaller organizations.
Do this now!
So now’s your chance to let your local rescue or dog organization take advantage of this project. It’s a huge WIN for everybody involved…for the owners, the dog organizations and most of all the dogs ☺
Get them to visit this page or email me at [email protected] and we’ll get them onboard.
AND please, please, please, share this on social media as much as you can – hit all the share buttons 🙂
If you haven’t visited the site yet, then maybe it’s time… theonlinedogtrainer.com
Have a great day and love your dog,
